• Who we are

Our Vision is to build a strong and vibrant church that reaches all people.

Our Mission is to connect and lead people into an active relationship with Jesus.

  • How we got started

Light of Life began in the basement of our Pastors Lincoln and Shanti’s home in 1994 as a Bible Study. There was hope for more as God opened doors for Light of Life to move to 601 Kennedy Road where we were able to facilitate more people from every generation and walk of life.

Light of Life quickly outgrew that space needing somewhere bigger to extend our reach in the community. Light of Life moved to 1100 Bellamy Road which provided more space to accommodate more people. However, God had bigger and better plans for Light of Life to one day own a building.

That day came in 2007 when Light of Life moved into 1080 Bellamy our new and very own facility. Through the years, Light of Life welcomed many people from every generation, ethnicity and background with a desire to know more about Jesus Christ that are still a part of the church today.

  • Where we’re headed

What's the bottom line? More than ever, Light of Life Church is about reaching people for Jesus. We desire for everyone that for those we meet, that they would know the love, grace and mercy of God. With this in mind, we have faith to believe that God is about to do something BIG in our church.

We believe that God wants us to extend our boarders, physically! Our plans for the future is to move our church location so that we can build a facility from the ground up.

Light of Life is committed to being a generational church where all people meet with God and find a place to belong. Through discipleship, we invite all people to grow into who God wants them to be.

Believe. Belong. Become.

Our Values

Our values shape our identity and guide our actions. They influence how we care, the experience people have, the purpose they discover, and the growth they go through.

  • Jesus-Focused

Colossians 1:18 Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything.

  • Bible-Believing

John 17:17 Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.

  • Spirit-Led

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

  • Living Sacrafices

Romans 12:1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

  • Community Centric

Acts 2:42–47 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper , and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

  • Generous Natured

Proverbs 11:24–25 Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

  • Celebrating Diversity

Galatians 3:28–29 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children[b] of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
