Reach Youth
Reach is filled with excited youth that share a curiosity of who God is and desires to know more. Along with discussing their thoughts about the Bible in context to their lives, we also prioritize having fun and making new connections with others.
Who We Are
Here at Light of Life, we have 2 main youth age groups. Our younger group, ages 12 - 15 are always the life of the party. Our older group, ages 16 - 23 are a dynamic bunch who meet together to discuss the challenges being their age and they learn how to be an example of Christ among those they encounter.
What To Expect
In total, Reach is about 2 hours. To kick off the night with some fun, we begin with an icebreaker. After the Icebreaker, we have a dynamic time of worship led by our very own youth worship team. The group is a compilation of members from both Reach Kids and Reach Youth, our older group. We share a few announcements and then both groups break off with their leaders for a fun filled activity that helps them understand more of their own relationship with Jesus.
Why Participate?
There is a lot of pressure placed on youth to figure out their next steps, they learn about themselves and the world around them in a rapid amount of time. More than most stages of life, having guidance and building strong and healthy relationships is important. We believe that Reach Youth is a space for youth to receive Godly guidance and learn more about their personal relationship with Jesus.
